“What should I wear for my senior pictures?”
If this question is keeping you up at night, you're not alone.
The good news? I’ve got you.
Here’s how to choose outfits that are flattering, stylish, and most importantly—feel like you.
💃 1. Dress Like Yourself, Just a Bit Elevated
You want to look like you, but on your best day. If you’re casual, don’t feel like you have to show up in heels. If you love fashion, bring the drama. Just avoid going too trendy (you’ll want to love these photos years from now!).
👚 2. Plan for Variety
Here’s my ideal combo:
Look 1: Casual + chill (jeans and your favorite tee or top)
Look 2: Dressed-up & polished (think jumpsuit, dress, or something editorial)
Look 3: Something with texture/layers (leather jacket, cozy knit, flannel)
Look 4: Something meaningful (school tee, jersey, cultural outfit, etc.)
🎨 3. Color Matters More Than You Think
Wearing the right colors can make your eyes pop and your skin glow. Wearing the wrong colors can make you look washed out. That’s why I include a color analysis with every senior session to help you choose the most flattering shades for your skin tone and lighting setup.
👠 4. Don’t Forget the Details
Shoes matter—yes, even in full-body shots.
Clean and shape your nails (you’ll use your hands a lot).
Accessories should complement, not distract.
Avoid loud patterns, crazy graphics, or anything you’ll regret in 10 years.
📷 5. Still Not Sure? I’ll Help You Style It
During your pre-session consultation, we’ll walk through outfit ideas, colors, and how to pull it all together so you feel confident walking into your shoot.
You don’t have to guess—I’ve done this a hundred times and I’ve got you.
