The Journey is ALWAYS worth it!

From taking pictures of my kids growing up to running a full photography business, every challenge was a lesson.

Today, I'm sharing where I started with my photography and editing journey.

I cropped too tight in camera, not giving room for the subject to breathe in the image. It limited what I was able to do with the final images. You wouldn't want to make a large 24x36 canvas of a close up image.

I also hadn't found my signature editing style yet, there wasn't consistency across my images. Clients skin tones weren't true to life and didn't convey emotion.

Enter the journey, it took time. It took making mistakes and learning from it. It took investing both time and money in myself and always striving to learn more.

To every small business owner out there - keep pushing. Your dreams are valid. 💕

The journey isn't always pretty, but it's always worth it.
