You don't need a perfect family to have photographs you love.

Family pictures have a reputation for being a little...stressful.

Getting everyone dressed. Getting everyone there. Hoping the kids cooperate. Hoping your spouse cooperates. Wondering if you're going to like yourself in the pictures.

But your family doesn't need to show up perfectly polished and ready to perform for the camera.

They just need to show up as themselves.

We'll make room for the laughs, the personalities, the unexpected moments, and yes...probably a little chaos.

Your kids are allowed to be kids.

And they definitely don't have to be on their best behavior the entire time.

We'll move around. We'll play. We'll talk. I'll give everyone plenty of direction when they need it and space to just be themselves when they don't.

Someone will probably make a goofy face. Someone else will start laughing. And there's a pretty good chance I'll do something ridiculous to get a reaction.

That's not the stuff we need to avoid. That's the good stuff.
